During the Cold War, spies from both the East and West utilized specially modified cointainers to covertly transport messages, microfilms, and more. The most famous use of these cointainers was the hollow nickel discovered by a newsboy which eventually led investigators to Rudolph Abel, a Soviet spy living in New York City in 1959.

Even today, these cointainers can be used to protect you and your personal information and documents. Your confidential files can now be secured in a place where no one would ever locate it. Even a professional search might not succeed in differentiating the Covert Cointainer from your other pocket change.

Covert Cointainers are expertly precision hand-machined from actual coins to create a secret interior compartment. Once closed, they are indistinguishable from regular coins to the naked eye. They can be handled normally without any chance of an accidental opening. An opening device is supplied with each Covert Cointainer, without which it's next to impossible to open up the coin.

A Micro SD card (not included) can fit in all versions sold here except for the US Quarter.

Covert Cointainers are manufactured in the USA and are available in several different variants manufactured from US, British, European, and Australian coins. Select the model you want from the drop-down menu here.
